The whole concept of a Social Entrepreneur,or Socially-Conscious Entrepreneur pretty much describes me. I care about the environment, social justice, and being a compassionate human being. Ryan Eliason calls it The Visionary Entrepreneur! I heard him at the Transformational Author Experience that Christine Kloser created 5 years ago and there’s a contest…and she gives away the wisdom of 20 teleclasses from the top in their fields-Agents, Publishers,Authors…He talked about changing the world and not going broke! That caught my attention and as he spoke you couldn’t wait to get more. This wisdom is in his book,”10 Ways to Get Paid For Changing the World”! I get nothing from saying this! It’s just true.
Being a socially-conscious entrepreneur is not mutually exclusive to being in business and making mone. I believe in helping and empowering others to get clarity and discover their passions and follow their dreams can work in concert with being an entrepreneur in business to make money. “Many are doing it, not just special people, like Gandhi or Mother Theresa”. Ryan’s words, not mine.
He says that it’s all about marketing! Non Profit Organizations, corporations, all visionary entrepreneurs must allocate the majority of their time and energy and budget to marketing. My head was nodding. It’s the truth.
I knew that if I don’t make a good living. I won’t be able to stay in business. I won’t be able to continue to help others grow, get clarity on the passions, navigate that transition & other ones that result, and follow their dreams!
My message of LovingLife and the 3 Step Transition Cycle TM through my book, “Turning Midlife into the RIGHT Life!” This and some valuable stuff is found at http://www.midlifetransitioncoaching.com.
Ryan’s concept of a Visionary Entrepreneur, has opened my eyes and hopefully yours, too.
