We interrupt my normal talk to share a great Customer Service/Help Desk story with you! Have you heard of Hootsuite? It’s a social media management system-only I love writing my own stuff and really wasn’t using it…why pay? Had some health issues around the time I did a trial run…I sent a help question and thought, oh brother…what a pain! But, it wasn’t. Mika M. of the help desk was wonderful-professional,efficient and human!:) I’m very grateful she came into my life! I reward good customer service and rant when it’s lousy, as you know.
If she treats customers who need to cancel…Hootsuite is very smart to hire her for their team.
I’ve had a few good customer service experiences…the really knowledgeable, returns woman at Micro Center and Chris who sold us my new laptop! The hassled but,humorous guy on Thanksgiving night in a crowded Staples, very pleasant cashiers in Giant- one took the time to talk about the flowers I’d chosen, and a few cashiers at Walmart!
I have my clients taking notice of the positive by creating a gratitude journal where the write down 3-5 things they’re grateful for…like my 30 days of Gratitude. Thanks!
