Being a Career Woman & a mom are far from mutually exclusive! Many of my coaching clients are a combination-wife/mother/career woman and either are looking for life/work balance and a job that "fits" or want to be their own employer & start a business-be an entrepreneur.
I love being a small business-a solopreneur! But, it does take juggling to maintain career/life balance…And I am constantly learning-not just about shopping carts and internet marketing, but when to stop working.
I think being your "own boss" comes with a price. In the beginning, you are a non-stop employee of you. I know when I wait in line for the bank or the checkout at the grocery store, I write weblogs, articles, my ezines, or jot down ideas…I’m even thinking about my business when I workout at Curves!
But, I love travel and riding my bicycle built for 2 (tandem) with my very understanding & supportive husband.
Do you ever feel like you’re a tightrope walker trying to maintain your balance? How do you feel about this?
